Security and protection of your personal data
Based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the data protection provisions of the Confederation (Data Protection Act, DPA), every person has the right to protection of their privacy as well as protection against misuse of their personal data.
The data is protected within the framework of the legal requirements.
Cookie Banner
We use the consent tool «Real Cookie Banner» to manage the cookies and similar technologies (tracking pixels, web beacons, etc.) used and the related consents. Details on how «Real Cookie Banner» works can be found at https://devowl.io/de/rcb/datenverarbeitung/.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data in this context is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c DS-GVO and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DS-GVO. Our legitimate interest is the management of the cookies and similar technologies used and the related consents.
The provision of personal data is neither contractually required nor necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are not obliged to provide the personal data. If you do not provide the personal data, we will not be able to manage your consents.
Access data/ Server log files
The provider of the website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
The provider uses the log data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of the operation, security and optimisation of the offer. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of unlawful use.
The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO. A legitimate interest follows from the purposes for data collection listed above.
SSL encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from «http://» to «https://» and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Handling personal data
«Personal data» means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter «data subject»); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.
Personal data is only collected, used and passed on by the provider if this is permitted by law or the users consent to the data collection.
Contact
When contacting the provider via contact form or email, the user’s details are stored for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event that follow-up questions arise.
The processing of contact data is based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. An informal communication by e-mail to the provider is sufficient for this purpose. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
The contact data you provide will remain with me until you request me to delete it, revoke your consent to store it or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after processing your enquiry has been completed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
Comments and contributions
When users leave comments on the blog or other posts, their IP addresses are stored. This is done for the security of the provider in case someone writes illegal content in comments and posts (insults, forbidden political propaganda, etc.). In this case, the provider itself can be prosecuted for the comment or post and is therefore interested in the identity of the author.
The storage of comments is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke your consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal communication by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.
Use of cookies
Cookies are small files that make it possible to store specific, device-related information on the user’s access device (PC, smartphone or similar). On the one hand, they serve the user-friendliness of websites and thus the users (e.g. storage of login data). On the other hand, they serve to collect statistical data on website use and to be able to analyse it for the purpose of improving the offer.
Users can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option to restrict or completely prevent the storage of cookies. However, it is pointed out that the use and in particular the user comfort will be limited without cookies.
You can manage many online advertising cookies from companies via the US site http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU site http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/.
Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you have requested (e.g. shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The provider has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies to analyse your surfing behaviour) are stored, these are treated separately in this data protection declaration.
Integration of third-party services and content
It may happen that third-party content, such as videos from YouTube, maps from Google Maps, fonts via Google Fonts, icons via Font Awesome, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites are integrated within this online offer. This always requires that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as «third-party providers») are aware of the IP address of the user. Without the IP address, they could not send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore necessary for the presentation of this content. We endeavour to only use content whose respective providers only use the IP address to deliver the content. However, we have no influence if the third-party providers store the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes. Insofar as this is known to us, we inform the users about this.
Google Fonts
This website uses the fonts («Google Fonts») of the provider Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/, Opt-Out: https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated.

The data may be processed in the USA. Privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/, Opt-Out: https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated.
Font Awesome
This website uses the fonts («Font Awesome») of the provider Fonticons Inc, 710 Blackhorn Dr, Carl Junction, 64834 Mo, USA. To protect your personal data, the Fonts Awesome used are provided on our own server. No data is passed on to Fonticon Inc.
Youtube
This website uses plugins from the YouTube site operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.
When the user visits pages equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. In the process, the YouTube server is informed which page of the offer you have visited.
If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behaviour directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
YouTube is used in the interest of an appealing presentation of my online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

The data is only collected pseudonymously, i.e. the IDs are not linked to your other personal data, a direct personal reference is excluded. Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc («Google»). Google Analytics uses «cookies», which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website by the users is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Google Analytics cookies are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. The provider has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both the web offer and advertising.
In the event that IP anonymisation is activated on this website, however, Google will truncate the user’s IP address beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. IP anonymisation is active on this website. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating the use of the website by users, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator.
The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. Order data processing
We have concluded an order data processing contract with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.
Demographic characteristics in Google Analytics
This website uses the «demographic characteristics» function of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be generated that contain statements about the age, gender and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google as well as visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time via the ad settings in your Google account or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as shown in the item «Objection to data collection».
Google AdWords and Google Conversion-Tracking
This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising programme of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States («Google»).
Within the scope of Google AdWords, we use so-called conversion tracking. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie is set for conversion tracking. Cookies are small text files that the internet browser stores on the user’s computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used to personally identify the user. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we will be able to recognise that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.
Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked across AdWords customers› websites. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted in to conversion tracking. The customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that personally identifies users. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking, you can object to this use by easily deactivating the Google conversion tracking cookie via your internet browser under user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
The storage of «conversion cookies» is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both its website and its advertising.
More information on Google AdWords and Google conversion tracking can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.
Google Dynamic Remarketing
We use «Google Dynamic Remarketing» on our website, a service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter referred to as: «Google»). Google Dynamic Remarketing enables us to show you our advertisements when you continue to use the internet after visiting our website. This is done by means of cookies stored in your browser, which are used by Google to record and evaluate your usage behaviour when visiting various websites. In this way, Google can determine your previous visit to our website. According to Google, the data collected in the course of remarketing is not merged with your personal data, which may be stored by Google. In particular, according to Google, pseudonymisation is used in remarketing.
We use Google Dynamic Remarketing for marketing and optimisation purposes, in particular to serve ads that are relevant and interesting to you, to improve campaign performance reports and to achieve a fair calculation of advertising costs. This is also our legitimate interest in the processing of the above data by the third-party provider. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f) DSGVO.
You can prevent the installation of cookies by deleting existing cookies and deactivating the storage of cookies in the settings of your web browser. We would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of our website to their full extent. It is also possible to prevent the storage of cookies by setting your web browser to block cookies from the domain «www.googleadservices.com» (https://www.google.de/settings/ads). We would like to point out that this setting will be deleted when you delete your cookies. In addition, you can deactivate interest-based ads via the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices. Please note that this setting will also be deleted when you delete your cookies.

Google Tag Manager enables us as marketers to manage website tags via an interface. The Google Tag Manager tool that implements the tags is a cookie-less domain and does not itself collect any personal data. Google Tag Manager triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If a deactivation has been made at the domain or cookie level, this remains in place for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager.

Shariff sharing functions for social sharing buttons
We use the privacy-safe «Shariff» buttons. «Shariff» was developed to enable more privacy on the web and to replace the usual «share» buttons of the social networks. In this case, it is not the user’s browser but the server on which this online offer is located that establishes a connection with the server of the respective social media platforms and queries, for example, the number of likes, etc. The user remains anonymous. The user remains anonymous.
Privacy policy for the use of Facebook plugins (Like button)
This website uses social plugins («Plugins») of the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland («Facebook»). The plugins are recognisable by one of the Facebook logos (white «f» on a blue tile, the terms «Like», «Like» or a «thumbs up» sign) or are marked with the addition «Facebook Social Plugin». The list and appearance of Facebook social plugins can be viewed here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.
When a user calls up a website of this offer that contains such a plugin, his/her browser establishes a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser, which then integrates it into the website. The provider therefore has no influence on the scope of the data that Facebook collects with the help of this plugin and therefore informs users according to its level of knowledge:
By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that a user has called up the corresponding page of the offer. If the user is logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to his or her Facebook account. If users interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the Like button or posting a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from their browser to Facebook and stored there. If a user is not a member of Facebook, there is still the possibility that Facebook will find out and store his or her IP address. According to Facebook, only an anonymised IP address is stored in Germany.
The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as the related rights and settings options for protecting the privacy of users, can be found in Facebook’s privacy policy:
https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
If a user is a Facebook member and does not want Facebook to collect data about him or her via this offer and link it to his or her membership data stored on Facebook, he or she must log out of Facebook before visiting the website. Further settings and objections to the use of data for advertising purposes are possible within the Facebook profile settings: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads.
Facebook Pixel
We use «Facebook Pixel» on our website, a service of Facebook Inc., 1601 S California Ave, Palo Alto, California 94304, USA (hereinafter referred to as: «Facebook»). Facebook Pixel enables Facebook to display our ads on Facebook, so-called «Facebook Ads» only to those Facebook users who have been visitors to our website, in particular those who have shown interest in our online offer or in certain topics or products. Facebook Pixel makes it possible to check whether a user was redirected to our website after clicking on our Facebook Ads. Facebook Pixel uses, among other things, cookies, i.e. small text files that are stored locally in the cache of your web browser on your end device. If you are logged in to Facebook with your user account, your visit to our online offer will be noted in your user account. The data collected about you is anonymous for us, so it does not allow us to draw any conclusions about the identity of the user. However, this data can be linked by Facebook to your user account there. We have no influence on the scope and further use of data collected by Facebook through the use of Facebook Pixel. As far as we are aware, Facebook receives the information that you have accessed the relevant part of our website or clicked on one of our advertisements. If you have a user account with Facebook and are registered, Facebook can assign the visit to your user account. Even if you are not registered with Facebook or have not logged in, there is a possibility that Facebook will learn and store your IP address and possibly other identifying features.
We use Facebook Pixel for marketing and optimisation purposes, in particular to place relevant and interesting ads for you on Facebook and thus to improve our offer, to make it more interesting for you as a user and to avoid annoying ads. This is also our legitimate interest in the processing of the above data by the third-party provider. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f) DSGVO.
You can object to the aforementioned collection by Facebook Pixel and the use of your data to display Facebook Ads. You can make settings regarding which types of advertisements are displayed to you within Facebook on the following Facebook website: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads. Please note that this setting will be deleted when you delete your cookies.
